Last year, during the Toronto Week of Style's style movement fashion show - bambumoda, the south asian culture was featured as being one of the next major influences in fashion over the next four to five years. Well it turns out we were correct...except for one thing. Due to the web's influence and power, these indicators have been picked up a lot sooner than predicted. The runways of Paris, Milan and London were filled with shows featuring south asian influences. Whether it was as blatant as the models wearing turbans or as subtle as the embroidery used in the pieces, one thing is for sure, the south asian way of doing things is quickly becoming the norm.

To further support and showcase this movement that the Toronto Week of Style so boldly and correctly predicted, this year the event will feature a new face to the Week of Style family and a familiar face that was featured last year during bambumoda.
