Denim has quickly become the unofficial staple of the pop culture uniform. A whopping 78% of consumers own at least one pair of denim. The world jeans market was worth US$49 bn in 2004. With the likes of Oprah dedicating entire segments of her show on how to pick the right denim, this movement has firmly planted itself into the foundation of pop culture.
Building upon last year's highly successful Art of Denim, the Toronto Week of Style is showcasing some of the best denim in the world, (provided by the most comprehensive denim retail experience in the city - Coal Clothing) This year though, the event is also showcasing some organic denim lines (provided by GreenisBlack.
Coupled with the denim will be t-shirts by Solid Apparel and Coal Clothing.
